Michael Rock
Founding Partner and Creative Director
Michael Rock is a founding partner and Creative Director at 2x4 and Director of the Graphic Architecture Project at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. At 2x4, he leads a wide range of projects for Prada, Nike, Kanye West, Barneys New York, Harvard and CCTV. Before starting 2x4, he was co-founder of Information incorporated in Boston. From 1984–91 he was Adjunct Professor of Graphic Design at the Rhode Island School of Design and since 1991 he has been a member of the design faculty at the Yale School of Art where he holds the rank of Adjunct Professor. In addition, he was a fellow at the Jan Van Eyck Akademie in Maastricht, The Netherlands, and a contributing editor and graphic design journalist at I.D. Magazine in New York. His writing on design has appeared in publications worldwide. He holds an A.B. in Humanities from Union College and a M.F.A from the Rhode Island School of Design. He is the recipient of the 1999/2000 Rome Prize in Design from the American Academy in Rome and currently serves on the board of the Academy.
Georgianna Stout
Founding Partner and Creative Director
Georgianna Stout is founding partner and creative director at 2x4. She leads diverse projects at 2x4 from extensive retail and packaging projects to large-scale identity, exhibition and environmental graphics/wayfinding programs. She directed large scale digital and environmental projects for Tiffany and Co. and Barneys New York and a series of exhibition designs for the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, including digital components. She was creative director for an exhibition of Nike's 100 design innovations that was exhibited in Beijing China during the summer Olympics. She also produced and directed a series of episodes of the "How-to Show" for MTV Networks that featured digital music. Stout continues to lead retail and packaging projects including skincare line Malin+Goetz. She has been a visiting design critic at Rhode Island School of Design and Yale University School of Art. She also collaborates with husband, designer David Weeks, in his design studio David Weeks Studio. Prior to founding 2x4, Stout worked at Bethany Johns Design producing publications and identity programs for arts organizations and other cultural institutions. Stout holds a B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Jing Xin
Principal and Creative Director, 2x4 Beijing
Jing Xin is Principal and Creative Director at 2x4 Beijing. Prior to starting 2x4 Beijing, she worked with 2x4 on CCTV and Nike 100 at the 798 Space and also the at New York office as a designer on projects including Beijing Design Week, Prada, Storm King Art Center, Blik, and American Academy in Rome. Jing holds a B.F.A. and M.A. from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design. She worked on on the identity of the 2008 Beijing Olympics as part of her studies and also worked with Coca Cola on their WE8 project, an artistic collaboration between West and East of eight Chinese designers and eight international musicians.
Celine Fu
Principal and Creative Director, 2x4 Beijing
Before becoming principal, she was project director at the JOYN:VISCOM Beijing office where she supervised exhibitions for leading brands including the Chengdu Biennial, Mercedes-Benz, and major architectural offices. At 2x4, she worked with the Beijing team on large-scale projects including CCTV and Nike 100. After receiving a BFA at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Celine taught at Southwestern University’s Design School. She also holds a Master Degree from China Central Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design and worked for the Olympic Games and the National Centre for the Performing Arts while in school.


Jeffrey Ludlow
Principal and Creative Director, 2x4 Madrid
Jeffrey Ludlow joined 2x4 in 2007 and is Principal and Creative Director of the Madrid Office. Before Madrid, he lead the New York architecture team in various signage and spatial projects — ranging from events, to exhibitions, to retail — for clients including Nike, Herzog & de Meuron, Kanye West, MoMA, Prada, and DFI. Initially, he headed a site office in Beijing where he was responsible for the information / wayfinding master plan for the new CCTV Headquarters, with OMA/Rem Koolhaas. Prior to joining 2x4, he worked in architecture studios in the USA, Europe, and China, including OMA-Rotterdam and Mada s.p.a.m.-Shanghai, and lead a graphics department in Aedas HK, with projects in the Middle East and Asia. He holds a Master of Architecture from SCI-Arc (2003) and Bachelors in Architecture from University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2001). He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
