As part of a larger branding project, we were approached by the Rubin Museum of Art to redesign their website. The site employs the museum's updated visual identity to express the Rubin's core brand values and its mission to explore the big questions and ideas fundamental to human culture through a personal engagement with art. The website project posed a unique challenge: how can a website increase in-person visits to a museum with a highly specialized collection of artworks? Our solution is a site that promotes the Rubin's rich program of events by providing visitors with itineraries created specially for each day. These itineraries offer visitors a straightforward view of the museum's extensive calendar of Exhibitions and Events, and provide an overview of the current day's events in the footer of each page.
