The Diversity in Design Collaborative (DID) launches a design fest in 2022, “Designed By.” Responding to the overall lack of diversity in the design industry, the festival aims to engage and educate high school students about careers in the field of design. This year, 2x4 joined peers at the College of Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan to talk with local students between ninth and twelfth grade, alongside a program of lectures, group discussions, panel conversations, and design installations.
