Palais d’Iéna Construction Hoarding

The Palais d’Iéna, a Parisian architectural landmark designed in 1939 by Auguste Perret, is home to the French Economic and Social Council. As part of Prada Group’s renovation of the building facade, we designed construction hoarding that turned the building inside out, using an image of one of the Palais’ sunlit halls to surround the outer scaffolding. The image blended with the home of the Palais, the 16th arrondissement, celebrating the architecture of the spaces within. While the image itself celebrates the classic beauty of the interior, its repetition introduces a new pattern to the exterior in the spirit of evolution.
