Arper: Living Spaces
Arper’s design is based on a living system of components that can be customized to accommodate functionality and aesthetic expressions, to broadcast this message, we developed the idea of Living Spaces, to thread through every aspect of brand expression from product literature, brand magazine, to an exhibition and booth design presented at Milan Design Week. Exploring the lived-in qualities of space we designed the Arper booth at Salone del Mobile in collaboration with Lievore Altherr Molina, as a social space where people could gather and experience Arper’s philosophy first hand. The Arper Brief No. 3: Living Spaces elaborates the premise with intimate stories of the how and why people shape and inhabit their space and introduces Arper’s new products within these contexts. To present Arper’s limited edition, we designed an exhibition to present the process behind their creative reproduction of the Bowl Chair designed in 1951 by Italian-Brazilian architect, Lina Bo Bardi.
