Tales & Tellers

Miu Miu Tales & Tellers is conceived by interdisciplinary artist Goshka Macuga and convened by Elvira Dyangani Ose, director of MACBA, Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona. Premiering at the Palais d’Iéna during Art Basel Paris 2024 and traveling to New York in 2025, the project draws together a myriad of narratives exploring the plurality of femininity. Every artistic intervention from previous Miu Miu fashion shows and each film from the Miu Miu Women’s Tales series is represented by a character directly extracted from the collaborations, reenacted by real-life actors following movement direction by Goshka Macuga and theater and opera director Fabio Cherstich.

2x4 worked with our longtime collaborator Goshka, Elvira, and the indomitable team at Miu Miu on all brand elements, naming, advertising, exhibition graphics, as well as the texts, catalog, and the development of a newspaper from the near future.

Space design by Goshka Macuga and the Office for Metropolitan Architecture.
