We have an immediate opening for a seasoned full-time project manager with experience managing complex, multidisciplinary design projects from planning and contracting through delivery. Applicants should have demonstrated expertise in strategy, branding, and creative production, with competence in digital marketing. Agency experience is a plus. This position is on-site in New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Manages project lifecycle from planning and initiation to delivery as the day-to-day client liaison working in concert with partners and team leads
- Effectively communicates, both writing and verbal, between client and team
- Manages sourcing, bidding, and production with third-party vendors or consultants
- Collaborates with internal team to support onboarding, training, and mentoring of junior project management staff
- Supports business development by leading or managing complex proposals and pitches when needed
- Maintains best practice project management and finance processes
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience at an agency, digital services, or design firm
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant training/experience
- Demonstrated experience with client-facing management of complex projects
- Expertise with standard project management processes and tools; formal training or certifications a plus
- Proactive, self-disciplined, and professional attitude; at ease in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills
