We are thrilled to announce the opening of 2x4 Madrid. Under the creative direction of Jeffrey Ludlow, the new studio will work in close collaboration with the New York headquarters and develop independent projects. Previously, Jeffrey led the architecture and environmental design team at the New York studio focusing on wayfinding, events, exhibitions, and retail for a wide range of clients including Nike, Herzog & de Meuron,Kanye West, MoMA, Prada, and the Doha Film Institute. Before returning to New York, he directed 2x4 Beijing where he was in charge of the environmental design and wayfinding master plan for the new CCTV Headquarters in collaboration with OMA/Rem Koolhaas.

The new studio is located in Central Madrid’s Opera neighborhood.
About Jeffrey Ludlow
Jeffrey Ludlow joined 2x4 in 2007 and is Principal and Creative Director of the Madrid Office. Before Madrid, he lead the New York architecture team in various signage and spatial projects — ranging from events, to exhibitions, to retail — for clients including Nike, Herzog & de Meuron, Kanye West, MoMA, Prada, and DFI. Initially, he headed a site office in Beijing where he was responsible for the information / wayfinding master plan for the new CCTV Headquarters, with OMA/Rem Koolhaas. Prior to joining 2x4, he worked in architecture studios in the USA, Europe, and China, including OMA-Rotterdam and Mada s.p.a.m.-Shanghai, and lead a graphics department in Aedas HK, with projects in the Middle East and Asia. He holds a Master of Architecture from SCI-Arc (2003) and Bachelors in Architecture from University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2001). He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
