Tiffany & Co. Diamond Pavilion is featured on Design Milk.
2x4 worked closely with Tiffany & Co. to design the Tiffany Diamond Pavilion, a touring exhibition of current and archival jewelry commemorating Tiffany’s 175 year legacy of design excellence and style.
The architectural experience is defined by glass and light, featuring a glass Pavilion encasing the iconic Tiffany Blue Box. The exterior glass facade transforms from frosted to clear as one moves past, evoking the movement of light across a diamond.
Within the Pavilion, a pair of distinctive touch screen tables introduce visitors to the history of Tiffany & Co., presenting a rich narrative of text, images, and video in a unique 3D interface. To fully immerse visitors in the brilliance of Tiffany diamonds, six “Magic Mirrors” allow visitors to virtually try on jewelry pieces. Visitors can record their experience and send it via email or the Chinese social network Weibo to share with friends and family.
2x4 designed the architecture, exhibition, and technology experiences for the exhibition, bringing Tiffany’s creative vision to life.
