2x4 Beijing partnered with cashmere giant Erdos Group to design the brand identity and exhibition “The World of Cashmere” for Erdos Eco Ranch, or “源牧场” in Chinese. “源” means origin, referring to the start of life and the vitality of nature. Our design for the identity reflects the responsibility and respect for the environment at the heart of the ranch.
The logo, taking the form of a circle, represents an ecosystem and connects to elements of Mongolian culture such as the ubiquitous yurt. The Mongolian characters “Erdos Eco Ranch” follow a circular path, reminiscent of the alpine white cashmere goats that inhabit this bioregion.
