We collaborated with Miu Miu on the launch of their new flagship store in Tokyo’s chic Aoyama neighborhood. Designed by Herzog & de Meuron and situated diagonally across the street from the celebrated Prada Tokyo Epicenter, its interior concept is more like a home than a boutique, emphasizing intimacy over transparency. The building sits at street level, and its vast polished steel facade invites passers-by to peek underneath into the surreal and luxurious green, red, and copper interior.
Our graphic approach extended the Miu Miu logotype and paired it with a wave-like seam found in Herzog & de Meuron’s interiors. These signature elements were elaborated across all print materials and integrated into the promotional animations and advertisements announcing the opening. To accompany the launch we also designed a set of booklets introducing the store with a series of interior detail images and previewing the forthcoming F/W campaign.
