For a single weekend in June 2024, Miu Miu Summer Reads popped up in cities around the world. Taking over and customizing existing newsstands or at newly constructed locations in New York, London, Hong Kong, Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai, the activation offered visitors a choice between three seminal feminist novels including Alba De Céspedes’ “Forbidden Notebook,” Sibilla Aleramo’s “A Woman” and Jane Austen’s “Persuasion.”
In collaboration with our long-time partners at Miu Miu, we drew inspiration from clothing in the Miu Miu Spring/Summer ’24 collection to develop the concept, identity, product design, packaging and displays for the pop-up following the success of Miu Miu Literary Club.
