Princeton University Art Museum

Princeton University Art Museum unveiled a new home at the center of its historic campus: a landmark building designed by Adjaye Associates with executive architects Corgan (formerly Cooper Robertson). Imagined as a town square, free and open to the university and community, the museum opens up its extraordinary collections in expansive galleries, two “artwalks,” a Grand Hall, and a range of gathering, educational, and art making spaces.

We partnered with the Museum to create a new graphic identity and comprehensive wayfinding system to mark this next chapter. Central to the environmental design is a bespoke typeface rooted in the Museum’s history. Deployed across donor recognition in diverse materials and techniques, it annotates the building inside and out, adapting to its many textures.
