The exhibition Catherine Martin and Miuccia Prada Dress Gatsby showcases the exquisite costume collaboration between Miuccia Prada and Catherine Martin for Baz Luhrmann's film adaptation of the Great Gatsby. Prada and Martin created a collection of over 40 unique Miu Miu and Prada cocktail and evening dresses, inspired by distinct catwalk styles from the last 20 years. The exhibition, designed by 2x4 in collaboration with the Prada design team, features a selection of dresses from the film's Jazz Age wardrobe, as well as sketches, production stills, and backstage footage of the film. Our identity, branding, and environmental graphics encapsulate the glamour and sophistication of the era, while our animations bring a touch of modernity. We also designed a custom wallpaper, a montage depicting dazzling party scenes from the big screen adaptation. The exhibition first opened at the Prada Epicenter Store in New York before traveling to Tokyo and Shanghai.
