In 2015, Fondazione Prada debuted an anthological exhibition of artist Gianni Piacentino in Milan. Piacentino’s polished, industrial aesthetics and extensive monogram studies inspired the three-volume catalogue we developed for the show. Of the three volumes, the first looks at his process through a collection of his original notebooks, the second contains images of Piacentino’s artworks and quotes from the artist, while the final volume features an essay by curator Germano Celant and a chronology of the artist’s exhibition history.
